Manager, Terminal

Essential Duties / Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the cement terminals, including management of employees, manage costs, keep terminals clean and in compliance related to environmental issues.  Manage inventories to avoid stock outs and or demurrage.  Responsible for process improvements. Foster teamwork, open communication and cooperation across functional boundaries. Plan, develop and implement strategies to maximize production and reduce costs. Responsible for quality, safety and service.  Responsible for staffing of plant to ensure operational efficiency. Previous experience supervising front-line employees. 5 years of cement terminal experience highly preferred Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to motivate, coach and develop employees. Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent written and verbal communications skills; ability to effectively interface with employees at all levels. Basic computer skills and aptitude to work with company computer programs. Must be a self-starter, and a problem solver. Must be able to perform well in a fast paced environment. Must be committed to safety.
