Market Manager Water/Wastewater Treatment

Responsible for the overall development of a given segment and execution of related strategies for segments of the Construction Industry. Supports Product and Trade Managers in the development of new products related to the construction segment with participation and support during Customer Acceptance Tests, Field Tests and Product Introductions. Responsible for the acquisition, retention and utilization of knowledge in the segment in the form of training programs, software and printed documentation to increase field application, market and sales knowledge. Responsible for coordination with Hilti’s training department for specific training development according to segment of industry. Responsible for the selection, organization and participation in key associations, boards and trade shows related to the given segment including steering mechanisms to evaluate ROI for given participation. Responsible for coaching and directing regional and division management in developing, coordinating and implementing Market, Brand, Sales and Market Reach strategies for the Segment in North America. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering required, Master's Degree preferred. 3+ years Direct Sales or Field Engineer experience Demonstrate 3+ years of successful Team Leadership / Indirect Management ; Sustained success in these characteristics / dimensions Understanding of how products fit into the application chain within the trade Strong technical knowledge and technical communication skills Good interpersonal communication, presentation and relationship building skills Understanding of Market/ Financial / Operational planning Analytical and problem solving skills.
