Mechanical CAD Drafter/Fabrication Project Coordinator

High Purity Systems, Inc. has an excellent career opportunity for a self motivated, mechanically inclined AutoCAD Drafter to support our team. Reporting to our Shop Fabrication Manager, you will be part of a high-tech and versatile design environment. High Purity Systems, Inc. specializes in the ultra-clean welding of gas and fluid system components for the fast paced and highly competitive semiconductor, biopharmaceutical, and aerospace industries. High Purity Systems, Inc. also specializes in field installations of process piping systems.

The position will include the support of our shop fabrication.  Drafting responsibilities will include the design and detailing of complex components and systems as well as the maintenance of databases and documentation. A minimum of 3 years experience with AutoCAD in mechanical applications is preferred. Exposure to 3D modeling commands and principles is also necessary. Applicants must be able to create 3D models from 2D drawings. An understanding of standard mechanical dimensioning is a must. The ability to manipulate plot settings is essential.

Applicants with a four year college degree or an associates degree will be considered first, but a degree is not mandatory.
