Mechanical Engineer Skills Required: Mechanical Engineer, Material Handling, Conveyor, Design, Install, Customer Interface Job Description: Mechanical Engineer Location: Central Texas ( Temple, TX) Job Type: Direct Hire/PermWe are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in a manufacturing setting to join our team as a key design professional and to work with external clients and internal engineering teams on various design projects.Your duties on a daily basis will include the following: • Direct research and analysis of customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs for applications that apply to material handling equipment. • Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products, using computer-assisted design/drafting equipment and software. • Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, and operation of product designs. • Provide feedback to design engineers and manufacturing on customer problems and needs. Those with a strong background in material handling systems, and/or the knowledge in the theory and application of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical control circuits would be highly desired.We are targeting those with at least the following Education and Experience: • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting. • Excellent communication skills: Both Interpersonal and written skills are a KEY component to this role. You will be working with both internal engineering teams as well as external customers that may not be as technically oriented, therefore an ability to communicate to both VERY technical and NON technical audiences is a must. • A strong ability to analyze, interpret and review technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, etc. Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
