Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities include:Direct and manage plan operations for production, maintenance, and quality. Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to insure the total objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner. Develop and control profits, plans and budget. Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries. Manages capital asset maintenance. Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Control and minimize labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses. Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives. Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations. Implements and maintains preventative maintenance programs. Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to fast changing situations. Will be computer literate, particularly in shop floor control, production planning and inventory control applications. 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in related field; five plus years of progressive plant/operations management experience.
