For more information, visit dayzim.com.TITLE: Payroll Analyst Posting NC50125034POSITION SUMMARY:Provide payroll support services to employees in an assigned group of payroll areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide top notch customer service. Prepare payroll information for live payroll run. Perform payroll audits, payroll terminations, and tax changes for all new, active, or terminated employees in their assigned areas. Simulate payroll run and analyze results prior to submission for live payroll run.Participate as member of “on call” or “scheduled support” team during periods requiring remote evening and weekend payroll support coverage (this applies to Analysts that are members of the support teams assigned to support our craft labor areas of the business). Maintain bank details (example - set up or change direct deposit information). Process all off-cycle adjustments, termination, or late time payments. Express mailing of off-cycle payment stubs. Employee wage verifications and audits. Analyze and process claims. Research stale checks and re-process or prepare for escheatment. Promote and support departmental and company initiatives for payroll “best practices”. Process regular payroll.Process off-cycle payroll. Research and troubleshoot payroll related issues. Responsible for performing work in accordance with the Company's Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct and thus functioning as role models; and evaluating subordinates (if applicable) based on their commitment to the Code. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:PC literate and knowledge of Microsoft Office. SAP payroll experience preferred. Good organizational, communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities. Good analytical skills for assessing troubleshooting and resolving payroll related issues. Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume payroll processing environment.Knowledge of pretax elections, insurances, 401K spending accounts. Knowledge of payroll taxes in a multi-state environment. Exposure to reciprocal agreements and dual taxing between work and resident States. Working knowledge of the rules for state taxes and unemployment insurance coverage’s. Direct deposit maintenance, new hire maintenance, concept of “gross to net” and concept of “gross up”. Demonstrate continuous improvement methodologies. Have the ability to work to schedules and deadlines to insure timely and accurate payroll results.High School Diploma or equivalent. Some secondary education preferred. FPC or CPP preferred (if not certified, willingness to become certified). Minimum of 2 years direct payroll experience. Experience using an ERP system (preferably SAP).
