Performance Improvement Coordinator

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Coordinates and facilitates efforts related to performance improvement within various lines of businesses.

 

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

o Coordinating the development and implementation of performance improvement processes including Lean Manufacturing principles

o Gathering and analyzing data for performance measurement and making recommendations

o Conducting training needs analyses

o Developing and implementing training programs

o Coordinating and conducting training classes

o Developing and supporting quality management systems (i.e. ISO certified systems)

o Writing and maintaining various forms of documentation

o Developing and implementing internal and external customer surveys including analyzing survey data and making recommendations

o Coordinating and facilitating meetings

o Assisting with the development and monitoring of the department’s budget and business plan

o Supporting departmental goals and objectives

QUALIFICATIONS (Skills, Knowledge, experience)

·  Intermediate computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows software

·  Basic computer skills in Visio and Publisher

·  Knowledge of basic office machinery

·  Basic math skills

·  Works well independently and within a group setting

·  Knowledge of various quality tools including flow charting, problem solving, process documentation

·  Basic facilitation skills

·  Training skills

·  Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Management, Employees and other staff personnel

·  Ability to travel approximately 25% of time

o Bachelors degree in a business related field
