Enrichment Technology US, Inc. is responsible for the assembly, installation and commissioning of gas centrifuges and installation of related pipe work for the future National Enrichment Facility located in Southeast New Mexico.





PLANNING & SCHEDULING ENGINEER

 

 

General Summary/Duties: Supports project or proposal planning and scheduling activities including engineering, materials management, construction, start up and operations. Project controls provides the tools and systems necessary to effectively and proactively manage, control and report on cost and schedule for concurrent projects.

 

 

Activities

•To have responsibility for defining and updating a business planning schedule, this will be one of many schedules defined within the Enrichment Technology Program of work.  • The role is specifically to integrate within an established project team and to manage the schedule under guidance from the Project Manager, Lead Engineers and Project Engineers to ensure the project schedule is produced to the required standard.   • Under direction work within the project team to provide a planning     service for capital projects.• Ensure that functional, project and specification requirements are correctly interpreted and met.  Contribute to the resolution of problems in the particular field of engineering.• Co- ordinate the work to be done  in line with that of Plant Design and Projects and Project Services  management procedures.• Supports analysis of schedule, identifies and investigates project schedule variances.• Collects and updates data and updates and produces scheduling reports.• Exposure to basic scheduling and cost baseline fundamentals, concepts and principles.• Occasionally be prepared to support other projects from time to time.

 

Qualifications and Competencies:  Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, business or related field, or demonstrated equivalent and related experience. Entrants to this position generally possess 5+ years of experience in engineering, procurement and construction projects or operating industrial facilities in a planning and scheduling position.
