Product Leader, Boilers

AE&E-Von Roll, an international firm based in North Atlanta specializing in the engineering, construction, maintenance, and operation of environmental equipment and boilers, is seeking a Product Leader.

 

The Product Leader, in coordination with the COO, the VP of Sales and the Director of Project Management, has the overall product responsibility for Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) and Bubbling Fluidized Bed (BFB) Boilers in the AE&E-Von Roll organization in North America.  The Product Leader will serve as the key interface with the technology owners and will be the liaison with those Centers of Competence (COC).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• In close coordination with the COC, serve as the key decision maker for all market-related, product development and technological solutions for the CFB and BFB product lines.

• Cooperate with sales & execution teams to deliver CFB & BFB projects and systems that are market-driven and provide real value to customers.

• Act as the liaison to technology seminars, sales conferences, paper presentations, and sales meetings.

• Collaborate with marketing to create product innovation plans, go-to-market strategies and necessary presentation material.

• Through active participation in relevant trade organizations, stay current with upcoming market trends related to our product space, and continuously disseminate this information back to the company.

• Maintain complete responsibility for lifecycle management of the CFB/BFB product, system or services.

 

 

Education, Certification and Job Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant product experience with at least five (5) years in a product or technology management role in a complex business environment.

• A strong understanding of market and technology trends for the CFB and BFB product lines / solutions required.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering is required. Sufficient industry-related experience is an acceptable substitution.

• Ability to travel domestically in short notice, and sometimes to international locations with extended notice.

• Superior communications skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within an organization.

• Ability to confidently present complex technical information to customers, representatives and sales teams, often containing economic models that help justify ROI for our current technology offer.

• Proficient in MS Office.

• German language skills are desired, but not mandatory.
