Project Construction Manager

We are looking for an individual to manager the construction of both our corporate and franchised, new and remodeled restaurant locations.  This is a Project Manager position responsible for managing budgets, brand specifications, architectural documents, contractors, materials and equipment purchasing, site visits, job schedules, invoice processing and Franchisee experience. 

The individual will need to possess the following skills and experiences;

*ability to negotiate lowest possible cost for contracts.

Construction knowledge
*possess a basic understanding of commercial construction practices, construction materials and "critical path" management.
*manage to a consistent process as created by the team.

Architectural Management
*consistently seek to correct and perfect construction documents to ensure accurate documents are being used.
*detailed plan checking to recognize potential problems

Understand and manage Franchisee/Franchisor relationships
*explain processes and advise Franchisee on the development of their locations through respect and professional communications

Time Management Skills
*manage multiple projects, deadlines and budgets efficiently.
*handle high pressure deadlines and unexpected "hot" projects

Positive company representation
*recognize the importance of representing the company in a positive way through internal and external communications
*professional demeanor and dress when representing the company at corporate and in the field.

*ability to take control of issues and seek out fair but firm resolutions.

The qualified candidate will possess at least a college or equivalent degree with at least 5-7 years experience in commercial construction management specializing in retail, restaurant and franchising industry.
