Project Manager/ Account Manager

 

General Contractor specializing in restaurant renovation, construction, and facility maintenance services representing a national client base is seeking a Project Manager to work out of our Mt. Laurel, NJ office.

 

 

Purpose: 

 

The individual selected for this position will be directly responsible for the initiation, estimating, planning, and execution of multiple projects ranging from $2,000-$600,000.

 

 

General Description:

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

·Perform field surveys with enough detail to properly compile project estimates that will meet the organization’s objectives and targeted profit margins Compile project set up packages with a detailed scope of work, material requirements, subcontractor information, and required facility forms to close out the job Initiate cost savings by negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers for best possible pricingRepresent the organization in a professional manner while holding on site meetings with restaurant and facility managers, and provide optimal solutions to basic and complex construction needs Effectively manage material and labor budgets throughout the duration of a project to meet profit goals upon completion Initiate, monitor, and close out subcontracted projects Accurately report the status of current and completed jobs to the organization’s staff and owners, as well as customers Execute emergency projects as required by customers

 

 

Required Skills: Strong commercial construction methods and material knowledge The ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities throughout the day Work effectively with office and field staff to meet objectives Work with a sense of urgency to successfully meet customer deadlines Strong organization and communication skills Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications Sharp negotiating skills and the ability to get results Willingness to travel on a limited basis as required National account experience preferred
