Our clients include both government and institutional facilities across 15 states. We are seeking seasoned construction professionals to manage/estimate multiple commercial projects. Managing delivery order execution in accordance with contract requirements and project management procedures. Attend pre-issuance site visits for each job order to determine existing conditions, develop client needs in detail, and develop preliminary approximations of types of materials to be used. Prepare estimates for each job order based on technical specifications and drawings or sketches; where feasible provide possible value engineering suggestions.Identify all work items on each job order and estimate quantities of each item.Prepare quantity take-offs and enter line items into on-site computer containing the pre-established unit prices.Develop pricing for non-scheduled line items.Solicit detailed proposal information from at least three vendors and/or subcontractors with all supporting documentation on equipment, material and labor costs for material or equipment. Evaluate proposals from vendors and/or subcontractors for compliance with scope of workB.S. degree in engineering, construction, or related field Minimum five years experience in the construction industry with a commercial and/or industrial general contractor performing senior estimating duties and supervising personnelExperience in assisting in management and coordination direct hire crafts and multiple subcontractorsComputer expertise with estimating systemsFamiliarity with construction means and methodsGood understanding of principles, methods, and techniques of architectural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineeringGood oral and written communications skillsMust be a US Citizen For quick consideration apply here
