Spancrete Industries, a leader in the precast concrete industry, has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Project Manager at its corporate office in Waukesha, WI. 

 

Primary responsibilities are directing and coordinating all aspects of large, complex projects in a safe, timely and cost effective manner to meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. Activities will include site review, examine and understand estimate, drawings and bid documents; contact with customer to review scope of work, ascertain schedule, and define Spancrete’s responsibility to the project; organize and convene kickoff meeting with key personnel; establish a project schedule with target dates and responsibilities for all appropriate departments within the Company; coordinate subcontractors involvement; maintain effective internal and external communication with all appropriate parties; continually monitor project to ensure adherence to the schedule and provide immediate response to any problems and coordinate post erection functions in a timely manner to ensure our portion of the project is completed in accordance with contract documents.

 

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of three years construction industry project management experience including exposure to field operations and customer contact; ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings and specifications.  A four-year degree in architectural, civil or structural engineering, construction management or related field desired but not required.  Individual will have strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects, leadership capability, good verbal and written communicator, effective planning and analytical skills, attention to detail and demonstrate a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
