JOB SUMMARY: Our candidates roll will include being responsible for a broad range of accounting, payroll and administrative tasks including the following duties and responsibilities. Processing cash receipts and preparing journals entries and periodic reports for case receipts. Coordinating with Property Manager to resolve disputes regarding amounts due. Running and distribution of A/R aging reports according to pre-determined schedules. Reconciling cash balance at month end and the preparing and filing of sales and use tax reports. Coding of approved invoices and making the appropriate entries on A/P system. Collecting of time cards, checking for errors and making the appropriate entries. Making payroll deposits on a pre-determined schedule and preparing vacation and absence reports. maintaining log of Letters of Credit and other surety instruments. Updating rent rolls monthly and preparing 1099's when requiredRequirements JOB REQUIREMENTS: Associates degree in accounting or equivalent work experience combined with formal post secondary training or education. Minimum of 2 years accounting or bookkeeping experience with good numerical aptitude. Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
