Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.DESCRIPTION:ResponsibilitiesUnder direct supervision, prepare electronic drawing files within project standards, using sketches, layouts, project instructions and notes.Reports to Group Leader, Staffing Manager, or Project Manager.Attributes Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of basic drafting practices. Familiarity with CAD principles (i.e., text placement and editing, layering, snap, precision input, etc). The ability to perform basic geometric and trigonometric calculations and use basic drafting equipment.Decisionmaking and Problem ResolutionDecisions are routine and are governed by established project standards or referred to supervisor.Direction of OthersDoes not direct the work of others.Planning and SchedulingOrganizes one’s own assignments to ensure deadlines are met.Internal/External ContactsSupervisors and other department members. Minimal, noncritical external contacts.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Two-year degree in engineering technology or related field; or NICET certification; or 4 years directly related experience.Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Individual experienced in general construction including heavy lifting and manual labor.Background check and drug test required.Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work with small person crews with some supervision and guidance needed. Experienced in Straight Edge/Level Verifying.
