Quality Assurance Manager

DEL Technical Services, Inc is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA/QC Department.  The position is site based administrative / managerial, involving technical program development and operational control. Specific documented experience in ASME and API refining process piping construction is necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:The individual should have an engineering degree within a related field and work experience in process piping and mechanical construction inspection, quality assurance and control activities.  Specific experience in mechanical process related welding and exposure to multiple trades.  Demonstrated experience in large project leadership, staff management, and profit and loss controlExperience in the implementation of Quality based programs such as API-Q1 or ISO based program.Experience in development and implementation of an audit and surveillance program with CAPAAbility to effectively train staff including others outside of the departmentEngineering degree with documented educational accomplishments:ASQ - Certified Quality Manager or Quality Engineer, general overview of quality processASNT - ACCP Professional Level III Visual InspectionASME Section VIII, Div. 1, Design and Fabrication of Pressure VesselsASME Section VIII, Div. 1, Repair and Alteration of Boiler and Pressure VesselsASME B31 and API Process PipingASME Section IX Welding and Brazing QualificationPractical Welding Technology or Certified Weld InspectorSalary will be commensurate with experience.
