Receptionist:

 

Position Summary:

The Receptionist will ensure the mission and core values of Mountain Lumber Company are upheld. It is the function of the Receptionist is to be the first positive impression our clients and suppliers have of Mountain Lumber.  They will assist as directed by the SM to support Mountain Lumber, while promoting an atmosphere of high moral character and professionalism. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

I. Greeting customers

1. Make visitors feel welcome and help to direct them to the appropriate person for assistance

 

II. Handling Mountain Lumber’s phone system and directing calls as necessary

1. Answering calls in a friendly and timely manner

2. Maintain general voicemail system

 

III. Lead Management

1. Deal with customer brochure and sample kit requests on a daily basis

 

IV.  Marketing/Advertising/Creative

1. Maintain inventory of marketing materials, including histories of our wood

2. Scrapbook company print ads

3. Simple updating and maintenance of the company website

V.  Inventory Management

1. Manage the inventory of all office materials and reorder supplies as needed

VI.  Sales Support

1. Run Credit card information and checks as required by sales representatives

2. File original work orders and match up with shipping documents forward for invoicing to accounting

 

VII.  Other Duties

1. Maintain Petty Cash box; reimburse at the end of the month

2. Drop off and pick-up daily mail

3. Act as the AIA contact for Mountain Lumber Company; maintain AIA records and handle correspondence

4. Prepare errand list and deliveries for courier

5. Keep office tidy

6. Assist with various tasks and projects as needed
