Regional Sales Manager - Crane And Lifting Technology
Load Systems International Inc, a market leading manufacturer of wireless weighing system technology focused on crane and lifting applications, has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager. This is a home office based position. Candidates can be based in the Midwest or in the East.
LSI is a pioneer/innovator in the design, manufacturing and distribution of wireless weighing system technology. The company grows year in and year out at an annual rate of 30%.
Our design, manufacturing and administration is based in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. Our Houston, Texas operation is our global Sales/Technical Support office. In addition we have a Sales/Technical Support office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates supporting distribution throughout the Middle East.
Job Description:The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing new business with users of crane and lifting equipment throughout the assigned territory
Maintain and grow business with existing LSI clientsWork with LSI Engineering on product applicationsCo-ordinate with internal technical support department on customer product training/product support requirementsPerform product presentations
Generate customer requirements documentationWrite up product quotation/solution proposalsOrder placementAdvise LSI on markets trends and industry changesInput of customer data into SAP CRM software systemThis position requires a minimum of 50% travel throughout the assigned territory
Required Skills:A minimum of 5 years technical sales experienceProven cold calling skills
Proven ability to manage time and travel throughout the assigned territory
Strong attention to detail, with strong organizational skillsMust be a daily SELF STARTERKnowledge of the crane/lifting industry would be an assetKnowledge of industrial wireless technology would be an assetMust be a strong communicator with the ability to deal with field mechanics on up to corporate presidentsProven order closing skills
Experience with Microsoft Office/Outlook productsPrior experience using Contact Management Software
