Safety Consultant

Seattle based safety consultant company specializing in providing corporations of all sizes with safety and health program management is currently interviewing for the position of Safety Consultant.  The position we are looking to fill is a very exciting opportunity for self starters.

 

Applicants should know how to conduct a safety audit, write audit reports, design an audit schedule, instruct a safety course and CPR, conduct an accident investigation, administrate a safety committee meeting and perform office administration tasks.  This job will require physical abilities, the talent to work with many different personalities, and expert mapping and directional skills. 

 

Salary will start from $35,000 to $45,000, depending on experience.  After 3 month probationary period, benefits will include health, 1 week vacation pay, 1 week sick pay and paid holidays.

 

Responsibilities will include:Safety audits Design of safety program Safety committee administration and visitations All employee training after safety program is implemented Annual refresher training Administration of client accounts Instruction at OSHA 10 / 30, CPR/FA Networking with various organizations Checking e-mail on a daily basis to respond to clients in a timely manner Have phone on at all times during work hours.  Return phone calls to client and the Company within hour or after checking messages on break from training or after training

 

Conduct the following trainings:CPR/FA OSHA 10 Other trainings may be of interest during the course of employment

 

Equipment provided by the Company:Laptop computer Digital camera Company logo clothes LCD projector w/ remote CPR mannequins

 

Skills Required:

CPR Instructor certified

Safety Management and construction experience

Must be proficient in MS Office (including PowerPoint)
