Safety Equipment Technician (Respiratory/Fire Equipment)

We are a performance driven company that is determined to be the best B2B distributor of services and products focusing on the industrial, safety and electrical markets. What will you do with HNA? HNA Service Technicians are responsible for in-house and in-field service programs, for which they are still being completely trained, including fire extinguishers, fire detection/suppression systems, respiratory service, air pacs, and instrumentation.  The Service Technician continually maintains the latest repair techniques for service equipment and, where appropriate, advises the proper salesperson of the condition of the equipment services as well as any potential customer requirements. The Service Technician maintains good customer relations through the in-house or in-field service programs.  The incumbent operates in a professional, competent manner reflective of both the individual’s and Hagemeyer’s professional and technical abilities. What Skills and Experiences are needed?  Experience in the maintenance, repair and service of fire extinguishers, fire detection/suppression system, respiratory equipment, air pacs, and instrumentation is desired. Candidates with Firefighting or EMS backgrounds will be considered. Ability to repair and service equipment sold by Hagemeyer North America. Ability to operate a motor vehicle. Proficient with hand tools.
