Safety Manager

Kullman Buildings Corp. has a temporary assignment available for an Safety Manager  with 2+ years construction or heavy manufacturing safety experience.We produce permanent, modular, steel and concrete buildings for the higher education, telecommunications, healthcare and government markets.  Our buildings are erected in a controlled, state of the art, manufacturing environment and shipped to locations world-wide.  Kullman's cutting-edge, innovative construction methods allow for flexible designs and robust building solutions that are built in half the time of conventional construction.

The responsibilities of a Safety Manager at Kullman include:Oversee aspects of a Commercial Construction projects ensuring OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetingsFill out accident reports and conduct accident investigationsEnsuring all personnel are wearing their personal protective equipmentDaily facility audits and inspectionsInspection of power tools and some heavy equipmentWrite job hazard analysis (JHA's)Conducting daily facility housekeeping/compliance inspectionsMaintaining OSHA 300 and OSHA 300A injury/illness logs and submitting reportsDeveloping, implementing, and maintaining OSHA required programs and trainingProposing implementing and maintaining loss reduction measures, programs and trainingExperience with Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection preferred

 

Optimal candidates have the following: OSHA certification  (10 hour and/or 30 hour)First Aid/CPR certifiedExcellent communication (verbal & written) skillsExperience in construction and construction safety standards preferred
