Sales Assistant

Vision Products, a manufacturer and installer of commercial building products that include, but not limited to, architectural metals (stairs, handrails, structural, custom fabrication), doors,(aluminum stainless, all glass, swing and sliding systems), and specialty glass (laminated, bend, cast, painted, etched).  A stable organization with 48 years in operation continues to grow broadening product offering and range of installation services is looking for a self motivated professional for the following position.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

·         Min. Five years experience as an Assistant supporting various levels of management and or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Write routine reports and business correspondence.

·         Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

·         Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.  Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

·         Team player, detail oriented and excellent communicator a must.

·         Strong organizational and computing skills with advance knowledge of MS Excel.

·         Dependability and responsibility with regard to follow-up and follow through skills is a requirement.

·         Self-starter with minimal daily supervision.

 JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Maintain Sales Databases including job and marketing tracking systems

·         Administer and manage customer contact database

·         Create and distribute daily/weekly/monthly sales and activity reports

·         Assist with daily office communications and customer inquiries

·         Provide general administrative office support such as filing, answering phones, faxing, emailing and any other office duties as assigned

·         Prepare letters and correspondences in accordance with company procedures

·         Assist in the creation of presentations/proposals for prospective clients

·         Assist in coordinating sales functions and trade shows if necessary

·         Ability to maintain confidential information such as pricing schedules and client lists

·         Create and maintain schedules for sales group arranging appointments if necessary

·         Other related duties of similar or lesser classifications as conditions warrant.
