The Position
Sales Professional
New York, NY
The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to direct all sales efforts in New York City, concentrating on the fall protection systems and façade maintenance systems required on the rooftops of the buildings that landscape the city. Currently, it is estimated that less than 2% of the buildings meet current regulations and codes, so the opportunity is abundant. Our new Sales Professional will design and drive the strategy for customer acquisition and develop and maintain key customer relationships. The Sales Professional will establish short and long-range goals and lead initiatives necessary to achieve company revenue goals. He or she will also interface regularly with upper management and will represent the Company in the industry and the community.
The Sales Professional will initiate and establish contact with building owners, management companies and architects in order to help educate them as to their requirements and regulations that affect the people that are or may be working at height on their buildings. In this roll, the rep will be an integral part of the sales team and a key to our future growth plans. This represents a great and demanding opportunity to make significant contributions to a company and to grow professionally as the business grows. The successful candidate will:

QualificationsRequires 2 years industrial sales experience. Be able to pass technical test after training class. College degree is preferred but not a requirement. Able to demonstrate a history of delivering results that meet growth and revenue expectations. An action oriented, results-oriented approach to sales. Demonstrate high competence with MS Office and CRM package. A high degree of confidence and energy, with ability to self motivate. Must possess strong people management skills and be able to “manage through influence” when necessary. Ability to articulate the value of proposed solutions to prospective clients. A polished and professional image. Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle competing demands. Willingness to cold call in person and on the phone. Solid and sound judgment with willingness to make and stand behind decisions. The willingness and desire to establish and achieve challenging goals.
