Sales Representative - Construction Products - Growth Opportunity!

We are currently seeking an individual with a technical, construction or engineering-related sales background  to expand the sales of advanced construction-related products within an established territory in the Baltimore, MD area. This position is with a industry/division leader which is experiencing a high rate of growth. This position will not require any overnight travel.

Experience in construction products sales and/or presenting technical product information is highly desirable for this position.  There will be extensive training provided on the products. This position involves calling on civil engineering firms, architectural firms, building contractors and municipalities to increase product specification in the territory. 



Compensation for this position will in the $70-$75k range first year (guaranteed).  In addition this company provides a company car (gas and insurance paid) and excellent benefits (health 100% paid including family coverage, ESOP).  There will be a strong opportunity to grow compensation in future years.

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

* Increase product acceptance through seminars, sales calls and formal presentations

* Develop and strengthen relationships within the engineering, municipal, architectural and builder areas.

* Product training for company personnel and external customers

* Provide latest technical information

* Available for installation and/or inspection of product

* Generate project/order opportunities and assist in negotiate and closing
