Sales Representative / Sales Rep / Sales Account Manager

 

Position Summary:  Devote full attention to maximize sales growth in assigned territory. 

 

To identify new accounts and grow sales at a level consistent with company expectations.

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

·  Develops effective territory management and customer sales plans which establishes priorities and determines effective selling approaches for a geographic territory

·  Identifies market and industry potential within the territory and makes calls on potential and existing customers within those areas leveraging Aramsco products and services available to address customer immediate needs.

·  Conducts productive and quality sales calls on individuals who can initiate an order or influence a buying decision.

·  Maintains contact with customers in relation to their needs.

·  Keeps informed of new products and other information of interest to customers.

·  Demonstrates self-management to effectively monitor own progress.

·  Demonstrates a positive attitude towards team and supports the California branch.

·  Maintains accurate customer contact and creates effective information management for all phases of selling activities.

·  Utilizes product samples with customers to help increase sales.

·  Demonstrates full compliance to the company’s sales and price guidelines.

·  Make recommendations to product management regarding product improvements.

·  Participates and supports the marketing department promotional initiatives.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

·  College degree or equivalent experience.

·  Minimum of 2 – 4 years of outside sales experience is preferred.

·  Basic Sales Skills and Customer Orientation.

·  Basic knowledge of industrial and commercial product and their applications.

·  Basic Time Management and self-management skills.

·  Basic Computer Skills

 

IMPACT ON THE ORGANIZATION:  Has responsibility for generating positive sales growth for a geographic territory.

 

WORK RELATIONSHIPS: 

·  Utilizes company resources and coordinates customer sales opportunities with various members of the sales and branch team.

·  Actively utilize, plans and coordinates sales opportunities with vendor resources.

·  Interacts with inside sales and customer service, sharing and exchanging information.
