This position, based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a rather unique one in that our Fortune 500 multinational U.S. - based client is looking for an individual who is very much different than the typical expatriate candidate.

 

This client is part of a $500 million joint venture involving U.S, European, and Saudi public and private sector entities involved in building local infrastructure capacity in both Saudi Arabia and throughout the Arabian Gulf.This organization is looking for an individual who has at least three years of experience in the technology, transportation, construction, power, energy, and any related infrastructure sector who can assist in this exciting project.

 

The successful candidate will also have to interact on a daily basis between U.S.-based team leaders and local representatives.

 

Position:Operations Manager

 Must have lived, studied, or worked previously in the Saudi Arabia region A U.S. Citizen/PRA would be a big plus; or in the process of receiving such This candidate is probably living in the Saudi/Gulf area right now Must understand Internet technology, telecommunications, construction, hospitality, transportation, energy and other related infrastructure sectors.Excellent research skills Must have very good reading comprehension and written skills in English language Must speak Arabic or local dialects fluently Must have experience working with technical counterparts (network engineers, electrical engineers, Internet related technical experience, telecommunications, radio tower engineers, cellular phone technology, and radio spectrum and frequencies) Must have an intellectual interest and understanding of the Islamic culture Must be highly motivated to relocate overseas for a long term assignment Must have an excellent business acumen Young, but very mature and seasoned Must have credibility and a demonstrated track record of commercial activity in their home country Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision Must have a strong academic background and credentials Must be willing to work for a base salary of $70,000 with expat benefits Must be very flexible and mobile – able to relocate without delay to the target country Must be very bright and intelligent
