Scheduler

 

Abencs, a bio-energy engineering company is seeking a Scheduler who will be responsible to provide all basic requirements in the planning and scheduling of engineering, procurement and construction of industrial facilities, and have the ability to work independently on all but the most complex planning and scheduling tasks.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

· Evaluation, analysis and modification of standard techniques in scheduling

· Assist in the preparation of project timelines

· Prepare reports by collecting, formatting analyzing and summarizing information

· Maintains continuity among corporate, division and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs

· Responsible for preparation of bid packages

· Check all bids for errors prior to the submittal of formal quotes

· Identify equipment to be ordered for capital projects

· Provide cost information to the Procurement Manager

· Review customer requirements and RFQ documentation

· Prepare detailed cost analysis upon completion of all new projects

· Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

 B.S. degree in Construction Management or Engineering.Prior experience with Commercial or Industrial projects.Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in construction- scheduling, estimating, bidding and cost control.Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and construction contracts and specifications.Computer skills include ICARIS, Primavera (P3), AutoCAD and Microsoft applications.
