Scheduler - Project Management Office (PMO)

The PMO Scheduler reports functionally to Scheduling Manager, PMO. The Scheduler is responsible for developing logic linked resource loaded schedules. Additional responsibilities will be to support the Regional PMO Schedulers in all aspects of developing and managing projects and programs from initial proposal phase through close-out.

 

   Develop logic linked resource loaded schedules from proposals and estimates. Attention to detail including Critical Path Analysis, progress updating and Resource Leveling will be prerequisite. Support the Regional Schedulers in planning, coordinating, and managing all schedule and control activities on projects/programs assigned using Primavera Enterprise, Version 5.0 and higher (P5/P6). Coordinate and report regional project/program performance to the Corporate PMO.  Interface with Regional PMOs and various internal and external stakeholders on planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, etc.   Represent Corporate PMO in meetings with project stakeholders as required regarding project performance related to schedule and controls.   Ensure compliance with the H&M Project Management Methodology (PMM) and associated scheduling and control standards.  Develop and implement scheduling guidelines. Perform additional assignments as directed.  Travel up to 50% or as necessary to support Henkels & McCoy scheduling requirements.

   Miniumum 6 years proven experience in resource-loaded scheduling using Primavera's project management solutions. Experience with Primavera Enterprise (P5 or P6) highly preferred. Preferred 4 year BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, formal Project Management foundation coursework, or knowledge and experience in Industry PM Methods is desirable but not essential.  Understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on projects. Excellent communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential with interacting with internal and external project stakeholders. Limited support and training would be available to the right candidate to ensure a rapid transition to the position.
