Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL is looking for a dynamic person to join the firm as a Senior Expeditor, with at least 8+ years of experience in capital project construction in our Dallas, TX office.Expedite assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished  with regard to data supply, coordination of interfaces, timely inspection and on time delivery.  Facilitate the timely flow of information and services to and from Suppliers, Engineering, Project Management and Construction Team. Ensure terms and conditions of Purchase Orders are met for services and/or material procured. Ensure timely submittal of drawings and data from Supplier and timely return from Engineering to Suppliers.Perform shop visits as necessary for actual status and progress and issue expediting reports to Projects within 24 hours.  Issue Supplier alert notices as required.Input information in Materials Management System to log purchase order History from inception.Review and approve supplier invoices for milestone payment terms of Purchase Orders.Review inspection reports for potential problems and further actions.Attend project meetings and teleconferences as required.Ensure that the project expediting team is performing all required project expediting functionsSchedule and chair home office / supplier meetings and teleconference as required and issues of MOM within 24 hours of the event. Maintain status information on supplier performance schedules, purchase orders, correspondence problems and action items. Monitor project performance to facilitate early identification and resolution of potential expediting related problems, changes, disputes and claims. Utilize established policies and procedures, or develop others, to assure maximum contribution by expediting personnel. Evaluate facts regarding expediting-related problem areas, determine the most appropriate remedial actions and implement such actions through available means. Safeguard on time delivery to project location.Act as liaison between Engineering, Procurement and Supplier.QualificationsCollege degree in Business, Law Engineering or year for year related experience, in lieu of a degree.Minumin 8 years experience in capital project construction.Background, Drug Test and Credit Check Required.In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications:College degree in Business, Law Engineering or year for year related experience, in lieu of a degree.8+ years experience in capital project constructionBenefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
