Senior JDE Programmer & Analyst

As DRI Companies continue to grow and expand, we’ve created a new and exciting opportunity for an innovative, results-driven, problem solving and self-motivated Senior JDE Programmer & Analyst with knowledge about the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.10 functionality, tools, templates and method and ability to setup the system to meet the desired business process and requirements. Specific duties include the following:Identify opportunities where business systems can be used to automate otherwise manual processes, and encourage the use of technology to increase the productivity of the department and company.Manage and resolve business system issues on a daily basis.Support VP of I.T. with conducting analysis of new products, systems, upgrades and business system changes relative to DRI business processes to assist with return on investment and feasibility studies.Adept at determining requirements and creating business process models by interviewing personnel, reviewing documentation and facilitating working sessions. Capable of defining, architecting and re-engineering business processes. Able to present solutions described above to VP of I.T. and other Senior Management via whiteboard and PowerPoint. Adept at working with the end user community to develop testing scenarios and test scripts and leading teams in unit, integration and acceptance testing. Capable of performing JD Edwards training for our user community in a classroom or informal setting.Utilize JD Edward EnterpriseOne best practices and standards for development and implementation of new reports, programs, and functionalities, including: documentation of functional and technical specifications and testing plans, execution of testing plans, end-user training, cutover planning, and go-live support.Plan, execute, monitor and manage project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, such as Microsoft Projects.Provide weekly status communications with executives and department heads regarding progress of assigned projects.Monitor and maintain budget to actual reporting for assigned projects and initiatives.Lead and coordinate end-user acceptance testing and rollout plans with business process owners and department heads.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics and skills:Customer-centric attitude and focus a must.Strong communication and organizational skills a must.Sense of humor / pleasant demeanor required. Minimum of 4 years of JD Edwards development and implementation experience. (Must be “techno-functional”).Thorough knowledge of at least 2 of the following modules required (Job Cost, Purchasing, Inventory, HR, Capital Asset Management, Customer Service, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets).Experience developing JDE reports and forms using OMW and JD Edwards development standards and lifecycle required.Recent experience with EnterpriseOne 8.9 or above required.Workflow, EDI, Create!form experience desired.Experience with integrating JDE to 3rd party systems through Z programs or other customer interface processes desired.Experience with implementing bar-coding solutions desired.Experience with developing and/or implementing Windows Mobile solutions desired.ERP consulting experience desired.C/C++/.NET programming a plus.Crystal Reports with JD Edwards a plus.Experience with implementing JD Edwards Human Resources a plus.PMP certification a plus.
