Senior Project Manager, Horizontal Construction

JOB DUTIES: Under the direction of the Area Construction Manager, the Project Manager is responsible to estimate and manage assigned construction projects. Qualified individuals will be required to mentor and train Construction Interns. Individual must be able to resolve complicated construction related issues and be able to investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures to minimize safety and financial risks. Will be required to formulate reports concerning work progress, costs and project schedules and take corrective action when required.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management required.  Should have five years minimum experience in progressive estimating and project management duties. Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills required. The ability to review and analyze financial information and demonstrate strategic thinking skills is a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office  as well as Windows based estimating, scheduling, and project accounting software will be required. Must be able to organize all aspects of the project and foresee and resolve project conflicts. Experience working with UDOT.
