Explore the opportunity of world-changing work available to you below.CH2M HILL is looking for a dynamic person to join the firm as a Senior Warehouse Supervisor, with at least 9 years warehousing/material control experience; 7 years warehouse/materials management experience. Construction/power industry experience.Construction/Power IndustryWill be initially working on a 19 month power plant construction project outside of Albany, NY receiving, distributing and tracking capital equipment.Full-time, long-term position with subsequent projects in other U.S. locations. Responsible for the management and control of project material management including material handling and warehouse operations to ensure that the necessary construction materials are provided to the project in a timely and efficient manner.  Promote safety first. Ensure timely completion of subordinate performance evaluations per company policy. Promote and maintain equitable personnel policies and morale of subordinates in accordance with company policy. Provide Materials Management Status Reports. Provide job advancement guidance and training for subordinates. Coordinate project material management operations with other departments and authorities as required. Assist in development of material management plan for inclusion in the project procurement plan. Ensure that appropriate environment protection and outside storage areas are established.  Monitor the storage and control of equipment and materials from receipt until issued. Ensure that inspections are made so that the integrity of the material is maintained. Ensure that material is properly stored and that specified maintenance of stored items is exercised and documented. Supervise the material management process including the physical receipt, inspection and handling of materials and equipment. Supervise the identification process of all material and equipment received. Supervise the receiving, storage, requisitioning and issuing of tools and consumables.Qualifications9 years warehousing/material control experience; 7 years warehouse/materials management experience.Construction/power industry experience.Bachelor's degree, or year for year related experience in lieu of a degree. MSOffice experience.Drug test and background check required.In addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications:10+ years warehouse/materials management experience. Construction/power industry experience. Microsoft Office Products Outcomes by Design ® Meridian Prolog. Experience using project/client-adopted material tracking software.
