Service Technician; Jackson, MS

Gulf States Engineering Co., Inc. is a 40 year established equipment distributor representing leading manufacturers of pumps, blowers, compressors, valves, water treatment and waste water treatment equipment. We provide new equipment and process solutions for our customer’s utility needs followed by ongoing support through startup commissioning, regular maintenance and repair service.

 

We presently seek to fill one position for our Jackson Mississippi office. This position, for an inside shop service technician, requires mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to learn to troubleshoot and repair submersible electric pumps and mixers, blowers, and compressors.  We seek individuals that; enjoy challenges, have mechanical and electrical aptitude, and are willing to invest in learning new repair techniques. The candidate must be drug free, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.  The ideal candidate will have 5 years of hand on experience with rotating equipment and controls, and own basic tools.

 

Gulf States Engineering Co., Inc will provide; factory and in house training.  Gulf States Engineering Co., Inc. provides excellent salary based on experience.
