Shop Supervisor - Repair and Maintenance

The steady, rapid growth of our company has created the need to hire someone who can step in and immediately manage the maintenance, repair and availability of equipment and to maintain a parts inventory system.  Although a leader in the industry we are small enough that you will be recognized for the contributions you make. Essential Duties

 Maintenance of heavy trucks, other vehicles capital equipment used in construction;Effectively manage and schedule all necessary maintenance and repair of the equipment for construction projects;Oversee and ensure the proper training of mechanics;Purchase parts for equipment in timely manner;Ensure proper disposal of used equipment and supplies;Maintain an inventory system;Ensure that strict safety standards are followed at all times. 

Essential Qualifications

 Minimum five years supervisory experience of heavy equipment repair and maintenance personnel;  Specific experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel and gas trucks, paving and construction equipment;Demonstrated ability to effectively train and manage truck and equipment mechanics;Verifiable success at forecasting material, equipment and manpower;Knowledge of and experience in establishing and maintaining a part inventory system.
