Contact Email: jrichardelli@tycoint.com Contact Address: 3750 Progress RoadNorfolk,VA 23502 Fax: 757-853-6704 JobRefCode: 295-021649-042308 Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: Customer Support/Client Care Experience: 2+ to 5 Years       Job Description   Job Description: Site Supervisor Job Description:As the world’s largest full-service provider of fire protection, detection, and integrated systems, SimplexGrinnell is continually looking for talented and ambitious individuals.  Our continued success and growth has produced a need for a Site supervisor based in our Norfolk, Virginia office. Summary:We are currently looking for a site supervisor who reports to the Total Service Manager.  In this challenging and rewarding role the responsibilities will include overseeing the day to day operations of small yet diverse team, which is permanently staffed at a customer’s site.  This team is responsible for inspections and maintenance of the fire alarm, sprinkler, CCTV, card access, public address, and nurse call systems.   Responsibilities: Create and maintain daily, weekly, monthly, and annual schedules to ensure all inspections are done on time. Review inspection documentation to ensure inspections are done per code requirements. Work with office sales team on price quotes for new work. Ensure complete understanding of Company policies and review with staff to promote compliance on a daily basis. Actively participate in quickly resolving customer concerns. Ensure that effective performance measures are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and exceed objectives in a professional, timely, and quality manner. Perform additional duties as required. Qualifications: 2 or more years of experience in the fire protection/life safety industry. Demonstrated leadership with effective verbal and written communications skills. Proficient with MS Office. Knowledge of applicable fire regulations and codes such as NFPA, NEC, OSHA, JCAHO, and IFC. NICET in fire alarm Strong leadership and business acumens. College degree or equivalent work experience. Only candidates who posses the above minimum qualifications will be considered.  Candidates must successfully complete a background investigation and drug test.
