Sr. Financial Analyst for North American Markets - Fast Growing Retail and Manufacturing Company

This Senior Financial Analyst will provide strategic support in the form of business, financial, accounting, and operational analyses to management, sales, marketing and support functions.  Will perform monthly analysis of sales and operating results.  Will provide financial planning and analysis support including forecasts, budgets, and ad hoc projects.

 

Additional duties include: Develop and maintain financial reports for forecasting, trending, modeling and analysis of results, provide analysis and interpretation of financial results versus budget and projections to facilitate corporate decision-making and improve operational and financial effectiveness, analyze financial data, including defining and extracting relevant information needed to measure and monitor store and regional operating performance.

 Assist in the consolidation of subsidiary reporting information from various geographic regionsAssist in preparing the monthly financial reporting package distributed to senior managementAssist in the forecasting of working capital and cash needsAssist in developing quarterly forecastsPerform ROI analyses on requested capital projectsParticipate in the conversion to an integrated ERP solution, including development and maintenance of various corporate reports and financial analyses.  Assist in the preparation of the annual corporate budgetAssist in the annual external audit process

 

Qualifications Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or financeMasters degree strongly preferred5-7 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experienceMust speak fluent SpanishMust have ability to read and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementsAbility to effectively communicate and establish positive working relationships with other departments and personnel at all levels throughout the organizationStrong analytical and computer skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and Power Point Experience with Oracle and Hyperion a plusExperience with or ability to work in a high volume environmentWilling to travel up to 25%
