The entrepreneurial spirit still thrives here and we have a small-company-feel where everyone helps each other, but we also have all the benefits of being part of a Fortune 50 company.  PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for managing material requirements for E/P (Engineering/Procurement) and EPC (Engineering/Procurement/Construction) projects.  These responsibilities include development and refinement of work processes, interfacing with Engineering, Project Management, Project Controls, Construction and Purchasing to facilitate timely and accurate provision of materials to project locations.  Positions will also manage personnel in the company’s Material Management department.  TYPICAL DUTIES Responsibilities and duties include the following: I.  Interface with Project Management, Engineering, Project Controls, Construction and Purchasing to facilitate timely and accurate provision of materials to construction project locations.  Develop processes and systems to both execute and monitor material management within the company. II. Update and maintain project materials management systems and/or software to execute materials management functions further described below. III. Ensure that field construction requisitions are entered into SAP and forward to appropriate approval authority and /or Procurement as needed. IV. Produce required materials reports for projects including but not limited to status reports of Purchase Orders, inventory reports, short and back order reports, and forecasts.   V. Develop and implement warehousing and inventory management processes and systems for projects, including storing received materials in an organized fashion and maintaining real time inventory of materials in warehouse. VI. Develop and implement receiving of materials processes and systems for projects. VII. Develop and implement processes and systems for distribution of materials from warehouse to field construction supervision and personnel as required to support construction needs and schedule.  SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Requires four years of college or technical school resulting in a B.S. degree, and 5 to 10 years relevant work experience in construction materials management.
