Staff Accountant

ThyssenKrupp Safway, Inc., which is part of the ThyssenKrupp Services group, is the largest and most successful scaffold company in the United States with over 80 branches. Currently we are looking for a Staff Accountant for our corporate headquarters located in Waukesha, WI. 

 

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining our Lapse schedule, used for inventory depreciation, preparing and filing all personal property and real estate taxes for every state/branch location and maintenance and application filing of all required business licenses.  Additional duties include recording all monthly physical inventory audit results, scrap sales and intercompany sales and other general accounting tasks. 

 

The qualified candidate will have a 4 year degree in Accounting and 1-2 years of general accounting experience.  Candidate must have experience with inventory amortization, personal property and real estate taxes and business license requirements.  An advanced level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel is required.  Experience with AS400 and Infinium is a plus.
