Summer Part-Time Industrial Hygiene Technician

Kleinfelder is currently seeking individuals to support our Industrial Hygiene service line. As an Industrial Hygiene technician, one will be required to provide consulting services to clients with indoor air quality, asbestos, lead-based paint, and/or mold issues. Candidates must be independent, responsible, mature, and willing to travel. Overtime work will be required. This position shall require working in all weather conditions, and is physically and demanding (must be able to lift 50 pounds). Candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write and absorb technical information is necessary. Candidates with NYSDOL Asbestos Certifications, 40-hour OSHA Health and Safety Training, USEPA Lead-Based Paint Certifications, and/or First Aid/CPR training are encouraged to apply.Candidates must have a good driving record and a valid Driver's License. A 2 or 4-year college degree is preferred, though not required. A H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. is required
