We are currently interviewing for an experienced Plumbing & Piping General Foreman/Superintendent to oversee, coordinate and manage field crews in their daily and overall assignments. Responsibilities include:

 

• Review and evaluate project documents

• Identify staffing, equipment, internal and external resources and related project needs

• Assign Foremen to projects
• Serve as lead and resource to foremen for project preplanning, labor, materials, rentals and other

  project specific needs
• Supervise assigned foremen in such areas as project document review, equipment needs

  identification, layouts and other project-specific requirements
• Oversee and coordinate equipment release times, material takeoff and process and related

functions
• Manage purchasing and procurement for assigned projects
• Serve as a liaison and resource to internal management,  and customers and clients
• Perform performance appraisals and counsel employees as needed
• Monitor milestones and schedules to ensure project budget and completion dates are met.
• Review budgets, expenditures and costs
• Work on multiple projects and assignments
• Attend a variety of internal staffing meetings and jobsite meetings as required
• Input, update and maintain records, logs and other related documents
• Utilize project planning, scheduling and related software applications
• Conduct site visits to crew locations on a regular basis and/or as required verifying progress of 

work and  conformance of work to project documents

 

 

To be considered, you will have at least seven  (7) years of recent, relevant Superintendent, Foreman, Crew Leader or closely related responsibilities in a commercial HVAC plumbing and/or piping construction environment or closely related experience OR any combination of education and/or recent, relevant experience to perform the job duties of this position.
