Surveyor for Road Construction

General Contractor working in Southeast Alaska (aka the Inside Passage) seeks chief surveyor for Federal and State of Alaska road construction projects.  The successful candidate will be a surveyor with experience in highway construction. 

 

The company is headquartered at the north end of Southeast in the community of Haines.  Both National Geographic and Outside magazines have ranked Haines as one of the best places to live in the U.S.  Additional information about the area is available at the local government's web site www.hainesborough.us.  

 

The company (Southeast Roadbuilders) is owned by residents of Haines and performs 100% of its work within Southeast Alaska .  SRI's projects run through spectacular scenery including some of the best fishing in the U.S.  The construction season generally runs from March through November, allowing our crews a welcome winter break to pursue their personal hobbies. Few, if any, of our 70 employees choose to work  during their winter break.   Historically our company has experienced little turnover from one construction season to the next.
