TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our client in North-East Texas has a need to add to its Sales and Marketing staff by hiring a TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER.

This new manager will make sales calls while building the relationship between our client and the end users (customers) within the electrical distribution and construction industry.

Additionally, the TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER will:

Develop the detail planning and execution of tactical goals to secure our client's spec position in the market.
Develop and maintain research on potential end users.
Know the plans and needs of key national accounts and actively take steps to ensure that our client's product is specified for their planned projects.
Work directly with manufacturer's reps and agents to penetrate designated key accounts.
Travel 60% of the time.



This management position requires that the successful candidate have the following education and experience:
Degree in Business with a Marketing emphasis
At least 5 years of Sales and Marketing experience in the Construction / Building industry
Excellent presentation and follow-up skills
