Temporary Payroll Supervisor - Commercial Construction - $16-18/hour

Commercial Construction company in Livonia in search of a temporary payroll supervisor. 

 

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPayroll, daily time sheets input into computer, check and balance.Print all payroll checks and distribute to correct dispatcher.Maintain employee setups, including new employee setups. Complete year end procedures timely and accurately, including W-2’s. Create an organized filing system and maintains all filing requirements. Issue layoff checks.Payroll account bank reconciliation.File union monthly fringe forms with payments.File payroll tax reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly).All payroll union fringe audits.All payroll weekly accounts payable.Maintain weekly payroll books.All MESC wage and separation reports.Maintain yearly tax books.All transactions for weekly EFTPS 941 and State Tax phone deposits.Weekly equipment and truck rental.Certified payroll insurance work-comp weekly and monthly reports.Weekly field and shop hour reports.Yearly company, field, office and shop hours report.Any other duties as assigned.





Position Requirements

 

Skills Required:  Attention to detail, dedication, data entry, and people skills.

Experience:  3 – 5 years payroll experience.Applicants must have strong union and multistate skillsTimberline experience is highly preferred.

Education: Associates degree in Accounting/Finance or High School Diploma w/ various college courses.
