This position will lead sales and marketing efforts for increasing the upstream oil & gas line of business.Key Duties:• Generate new business with Oil & Gas clients and targets in line with the corporate sales plan• Secure existing business by assuring reliability and increasing customer satisfaction• Responsible for the coordination or preparation and timely submission of customers’ request for quotation and / or request for information• Conduct sales calls, make & give presentations, provide product support and performs other marketing and marketing functions as needed by existing or potential customers• Build up / improve customer relationship on an area and local basis with the use of available resources within the CH2MHILL operation• Build up a strong business relationship with clients by understanding their goals, mission & business strategiesQualifications• Requires a minimum of ten to fifteen years of upstream oil & gas industry, professional services experience. Must have prior experience in sales and project management, and/ or operational management in the upstream oil & gas industry.• BS in applicable engineering field• A minimum of three years of sales/marketing management in a service industry related to oil and gas• Ability to manage programs and client relations• Marketing and client focus• Experience with upstream gas EPC projects• Contract review and approval experience• The ability to develop and further grow a sales organization and aggressively lead the sales efforts in achieving company objectives• Experience in dealing with mid, senior level management, as gas well as oil well personnel• Experience in using financial controls, sales and marketing planning, forecasting and budgeting systems and service application systems with ability to relate and use these functions effectively to achieve sales and/or marketing objectives• The ability to analyze and define current and future sales and marketing challenges inherent in the industry and suggest effective changes.• Must be a self starter, able to work on their own initiative• Must have excellent presentation skills• Knowledge of marketing tools and techniques, particularly those used in strategic analysis and planning for networking within the Oil & Gas marketIn addition to the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate would meet the following preferred qualifications:• PE Registration a plus• PMP certification preferredBenefits: Medical and Dental Plans Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance Short Term and Long Term Disability Income 401(k) Plan with company match Employee Ownership Paid Time Off Program Flexible Work Scheduling Business Casual Dress Learning and Development Opportunities Tuition ReimbursementEmployee Assistance Program Voluntary Auto and Homeowners InsuranceCompany Profile:Employee-owned CH2M HILL is a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction and operations for public and private clients.
