The Senior Web Developer is responsible for ensuring the timely development, implementation, maintenance and end user satisfaction for AECOM’s Internet, Intranet and Extranet. The successful candidate will work in a team environment and participate in every phase of the software development lifecycle and encouraged to have vision beyond the technical aspects of a project.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages all aspects of web systems (intranet, website, extranet) including design, release and maintenance. 

Works with internal/external clients and project team members to design, build, manage, and deliver solutions in collaboration, content management, and ease of use web applications.

Responsible for the research, analysis, design, development, test, implementation, maintenance and enhancement of web applications for the intranet, internet and extranet on various platforms.



Establish, update, educate, and enforce design and development standards, including web best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability.



Documents all development work through useful code commenting and other standardized procedures. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of five (5) years experience.

Proficiency with HTML, DHTML, CSS, ASP, C#, ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, XML, Visual Basic, Web Services, API.

Experience with SQL Server and Oracle required, including stored procedures and database modeling.

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, ImageReady, and/or other development software required. 

Extensive knowledge of web server configuration and administration.  Knowledge of IIS.

Knowledge of report generation tools in a web environment; multi-tier application development; and network technologies (LAN & WAN).

Knowledge of security models and their implementation in web development.

Familiar with web usability standards, web best practices, and procedures in web development. 

Experience in web systems design and user interface design required.

Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to a variety of audiences at all levels.

Candidates should be outgoing, self-starters, with excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work with little supervision; Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. 



Work well as a member of a team as well as independently.



Knowledge of ECM solutions such as Vignette, Documentum, Stellant, OpenText a plus

Experience with Sharepoint a plus.

Experience with Oracle ERP a plus.
