Bass currently has several openings in our Elizabethtown, PA location for Steel Fabricators/Welders with Mig Skills (flux core and bare wire) and one PT position for a Painter with Class C truck driving skills.  Both positions require a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Job Purpose:
Supports operations by fabricating components through analyzing requirements and welding parts.

Duties: Plans work by studying blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and construction.Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements.Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.Keeps tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance.Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical professional publications.Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
