Welding Inspector

Performs routine field and laboratory tests and inspections in order to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications. Follows proper procedures, performs accurate computations, and maintains cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc. Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Manages others as needed. May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.Qualifications

2 - 3 years of related welding inspection and nondestructive testing of metals experience required. Maintain required certifications for various disciplines as required (such as AWS, ASNT, ASME, etc.) General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Ability to work closely with other staff and clients. Ability to attain Level II / III status.

High School diploma or equivalent required.
