Wind Power Project Manager / Project Superintendent needed for leading power sector company

Our Client: Our client, a leader in  renewable energy and industrial construction, has asked us to help them find the right people to fill their open Project Manager and Superintendent positions. They are seeking candidates with wind farm experience that must be able to list at least one wind farm project in their work experience.

Position: The right candidate will be expected to coordinate, plan and supervise multiple project superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities on wind power projects. Duties will include maintaining a liaison with other departments to insure all requiredmaterials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. All plans and specifications will be coordinated with field design engineers, with all discrepancies clarified. This position is essential to the timely completion of over 20$ million dollar construction projects. Ideal for individuals looking for long term employment with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications:Preferred background in self-performed construction.Must have experience working with both union and non-union workforces.Experience supervising civil construction; including concrete foundation work, structural steel erection or high voltage electrical utilities.10+ years in commercial and/or industrial construction (NOT including residential or multi family construction).Experience managing multi-million dollar projects.Self starter with the ability to work independently.Must have worked on at least one Wind Farm project in the past.Preferred experience with Primavera and Expedition software.

Travel Requirements: Our Project Managers and Project Superintendents travel and work on-site, across the U.S. and at international locations. This position requires travel, no relocation is necessary. If your assigned project is outside your home region, we provide weekly subsistence as well as other generous travel benefits.
