Accountant / Assistant Controller

Camtar Corporation is in the General/Electrical Construction Industry involved with work in multiple states for Governmental and Institutional clients.  Our corporate office is located in Sharpsburg, PA which is approximately 10 minutes from the City of Pittsburgh.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated detailed oriented individual who works well in a fast paced office environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

4 year accounting degree

3 years + accounting experience

Strong computer skills

Strong organizational and detail skills

Experience with Foundation System software is a plus

 

Responsibilities:

 

Prepare financial statements

Manage general ledger

Supervise payroll

Supervise accounts payable

Billings and collection

Prepare payroll taxes

Prepare union reports

Manage insurances

Review purchase orders and subcontracts

Manage 401K Plan

Special projects
