Accounts Receivable Clerk, Sr.

Processes and verifies applications for credit and solicits payment on overdue accounts.  Responsibilities also include keeping records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files, and credit risks.  Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures.  Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.  Performs a variety of tasks.  Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager.  A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.  Candidate must have good computer skills, including proficiency with Excel spreadsheets.  A 2 year degree in business administration or a working knowledge of MAS 200 is a plus.
